Our roots

Always the adventurous spirit, our founder Peter Norton traveled from Melbourne to Minnesota as a one-man-band with a Sony Beta-cam and founded RumJungle Media in 1992.

In the three decades since, RumJungle has garnered 2 Edward R. Murrow Awards, a Telly Award, 5 National Emmy Awards and more. Peter's passion for the industry has led RumJungle to where it is today.

Production Team

Kyle Gallagher

Kyle has been with RumJungle since 2005, starting his career as an audio technician and quickly becoming a Director of Photography. He has been at the forefront of the ever-evolving industry and with thousands of successful shoots and countless satisfied clients, Kyle has proven to be a go-to guru for answers and advice across a broad spectrum of topics and roles. From new technologies, to age-old fundamentals, he's the guy to ask.

Kyle always has two things within reach: his phone and a Diet Mountain Dew.

Jay Enyart

Jay hails from Bismarck, ND and has been living in Minneapolis since 1998. He started with RumJungle in 2006 and has been an indestructible member ever since. He has always been experimenting with media and music since he was able to operate a dual tape deck boom box.”Dubbing and mixing tapes is a gateway drug that leads to all sorts of wild musical and sound annoyance behavior, down a lonely road to public access television,” exclaims Jay.

Jay has proved he can think. He has a degree (not pedigree) in Speech Communications from U of M Moorhead.

Production Team

Jack Norton

Jack grew up in the company and has developed a versatile set of skills in the industry. He is a Drone Pilot, Camera/Audio Technician as well as an Editor. He's got social media expertise having generated millions of organic likes on social media, amassing around 100,000 followers across platforms.

Outside of work he's an adrenaline junkie who loves to travel. A few of his hobbies include bodybuilding, freestyle skiing and guitar.

Trevor Tesch

Trevor graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Television Production. Since graduating, he's held many titles in the industry including Camera/Audio Technician, Technical Director, Satellite Uplink Engineer & LED Technician.

In his spare time Trevor enjoys hunting, fishing and just being outdoors! Furthermore, he enjoy watching his local sports teams play, especially the Timberwolves!

Founder

Peter Norton

In the 30+ years since moving here from Australia, Peter has built RumJungle into the company it is today. He is known for doing whatever it takes to get the best shot, whether it's hanging out of a Blackhawk Helicopter or being the first person to an event to secure the best camera position.

A passion of Peter's is Ice sailing in his DN Iceboat.

Production Manager

Amy Pearson

Amy came to RumJungle with a great variety of administrative and customer service backgrounds with some education in Information Technology. With a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and effective communication, she strives to ensure that every project flows seamlessly from start to finish. She is committed to providing you with a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the production process.

When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family. If she is not with them she is either golfing, swimming, fishing, or hanging with her dog, Carlos.

Tony Kelly

Anthony (Tony) started freelancing with Rum Jungle in 2016 and joined the full-time RumJungle crew in 2019. He is a jack-of-all-trades member of the production team, working as camera operator, audio technician, satellite truck operator and more.

When not working, Anthony enjoys a fabulous recreational lifestyle of golf, skiing, and music playing.
